clear as glass
but just as blurry...
instantly made me think of this...
feels like being lost in a foggy and misty wood...
everything looks the same... only the shadows change... and yet they change in a regular pattern so it only becomes more frustrating... u get more and more lost...
there's just... a strong feeling of angst... and lost.... and fear... and despair when I look at this..
(I got lost in the department store when I was three... so... sorry to ruin the comment like this

i haven't read the comments others made (no time for that, unfortunately ), but i don't think anybody else associated this with the alien-series that starred h.r. giger's creature and sigourney weaver... i don't know why i linked this amazing shot with that storyline.

reminds me of the reflection one sees when stading
in between two mirrors at 180 degrees from each other -
the reflections cascade to infinity like your glasses in your image.

... I find this one so incredibly spooky, I can't tell you why, because I just don't know... it triggered one of those deja-vu switches in my subconscious that just unnerves me...
... I think its that the endless string of glasses, each with their own reflection and refraction, reminds me of getting lost in a carnival funhouse of mirrors...

I'm almost rendered speachless, hezy.
I once read a story about what happens to people who commit suicide when they reach the afterlife. It might have been from Dante's Inferno, actually. They were hung from trees, left to be picked apart by vultures or something. They could only speak to eachother when they were actively bleeding... at all other times there was silence.
This photo reminds me of that story. And endless and forlorn entreaty to beark the glass, to break the silence, to break the pattern, the monotony, the endlessness of it... yet these patterns are captured within the confined of this photo -- unreachable and resistant to change.
