Jealous of your ability to draw people touching and make it look like they're touching!!! The muscle structure is really good on Equius and nepeta's pose makes me squee, i wonder what shes talking about.

The wide white space is nice. I'm not sure why but it wouldn't look as good cropped, so I think that was a nice choice. The textures are extra-nice too c:

Bright colors are something I don't see often in art about the trolls. For obvious reasons, I guess. But you use it to really great effect here, partially because it is unique. I feel like this is something from a long time ago, seen in a flashback or something. I like the highlights in the hair a lot. It might be the red outlines. That was a really cool choice. It compliments Nepeta's greens and stands out against Equius's browns and blues so it serves as a good outline. But it also is bright, so it sort of looks like the pair is glowing in the light. I love the pose and composition. They are so simple, yet they say what they need too. This would be a totally different picture if Equius' arm wasn't around Nepeta. It would be a lot less heartwarming, that's for sure. That's probably my favorite part.

whoa, nice and detailed! i can see the flaws in the drawing now that i've had some time to gain perspective, but you definitely hit on all of the strengths. thank you so much for taking the time to say all this!

My pleasure. As a viewer, the only flaw that stands out to me, really, is Nepeta's feet and arm proportions. I know she's a cat, but it kinda looks like her legs turn into cat legs in minnie mouse shoes when they leave her big green sweatshirt. But they don't mess up the picture. It's simple and effective, like I said. I'm always glad to leave a good comment when they come.

Hmm... I was trying to make it look as though she was kneeling in Equius' lap. I'll have to be more clear next time! Thank you so much for the feedback!
