You open the box and gasp at what’s inside,

It was a Canada Hetaloid.

“Oh where is it?” your mother asked out loud. “I was sure we bought you one.” She said sighing. Then she squinted a little bit.

“Oh! Now I see it! Amazing they made it Invisible.” She excliamed. You huffed. Not only were your friends hovering over the box, trying to find him, but you heard that these hetaloids get lost very easily. Right then and there you vowed to never lose him; otherwise you’d feel guilty for being like the other owners who had one in the past.

After the party, you thanked everybody and rushed back to the box once everyone was out of the door. You read the instructions on how to wake the hetaloid. You chuckled slightly at the first part, since it didn’t happen with you, but with everybody else that was with you.

The second part said he was shy, and judging from the last part, he loves pancakes, with syrup.

You smiled warmly at the Hetaloid, but you didn’t speak. You didn’t know what to say. You cleared your throat and moved to the kitchen.

You decided to make the pancakes first, with some home made batter that you learned from your mother, along with home made syrup, that you learned from your father.

Once you got it all on the stove and cooking, the toxic smell hit your nose, oh how you missed when your mom used to make these with you.

“U-Um, e-excuse me,” you heard a shy whisper behind you. You turned around to see your Hetaloid standing just ouside of the tiled floor of your kitchen. You smiled warmly at him.

“Y-You must be m-my new m-master.” He stuttered out. You chuckled lightly. He was so cute~!

“Yes, you are correct. My name is _____. ______ ______.” You said flipping the pancake and stirring the syrup.

“Mine is M-Matthew. Mathew Williams.” He said. You served the pancakes you were cooking and poured the syrup on a pouring cup. (You choose what type)

“You hungry?” you ask with a real smile, topping your pancake with (fave/top) and then the syrup.

“Y-yes, I am.” He said. You smiled and set your plate down.

“What would you like on it?” you asked putting another pancake on a plate.

“Syrup, l-lots of it please.” He said.

“Just tell me when it’s enough” you said gently grabbing the syrup and puring it on the pancakes.

After the syrup was almost gone he finally said stop. The pancakes were drenched in syrup. You giggled warmly.

“Here you go~!” you said handing him the plate. He smiles greatfully.

“Thank you.” He says before taking a bite. His eyes widen and he takes another bite of the pancake. “This is delicious.” He exclaimed.

You blush a little at his remark. “Thank you.” You said shyly. And then ate your pancake.

You and Matthew were inseperable now. Just afer a few months you both had a super tight sealed bond with him.

It’s been nine months since you got this hetaloid, and developed feelings for him. Though you keep mentally slapping yourself for ever doing that, you don’t regret getting Matthew one bit.

One day he started getting flustered and shy all over again with you, then after that little bit, he would be depressed.

When ever you asked whats wrong, he just give you a smile that you knew was fake, and say he was just fine.

You were concerend for this hetaloid. This time you were going to confront him about it.

You went to the living room where Mattie was sulking on the couch again.

You sat beside him palcing a hand on his shoulder.

“Seriously, whats the matter?” You ask softly.

“It’s no big deal.” He mumbled into his knees.

“It is if you’re making a big deal out of if.” You said. Matthew looked at you. “Look, this has been going on for a few weeks now, and I’m worried about you Mattie.” You said with sadnees in your voice.

He looked at his knees. “It’s because I’m scared.” He said not even daring to look at you.

“Scared of what?” you ask.

“I’m scared, that you’ll forget me like everyone else does, all those times we had with each other would be a waste.” He said tear pricking the corners of his eyes. Dammit creators of hetaloids, why are they so human like.

“I would never do that Mattie.” You said into his chest, hugging him suddenly.

He tensed, but hugged you back. You then felt your shoulder getting wet.

You pulled back to see tears streaming out of his eyes. You wiped his tears with your thumb while he other hand caressed his cheek.

He sniffled and then wiped the rest of his tears by himself. “Thank you, _____, for being there for me.” He said, hugging you again, which you gladly returend.

You pulled back after a few minutes, and kissed him on the cheek.

You were shocked when you heard him say, “You missed.”

You felt lips pressed up against yours, you kissed back gently, and then pulled back for air.

Both panting, Matthew looked up to you with lust now clouding his eyes. “Je’taime” he said.

“I love you too, Mattie.” You said before pulling him back into a passionate kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck, He wrapping his arms around your waist.

You know now that these types of hetaloids weren’t actually that shy.
