Lightning from FF13WORK IN PROGRESS!!!
I wore her around ALA and AOD, but she's not 100% done...
I've got the rest of her accessories ready to assemble, I just haven't gotten around to it yet ;_;
Also working on the gunblade...taking a while because working on the mechanics to allow it to turn into a gun and back into a sword SUCKS.

I'm iffy about PMX. Was SUPER DETERMINED to go, but the show I'm costume designing for opens that same weekend OTL CRYYYYYYY so. Iunno. (depends on the director...)

I have a question for you. how would you make Balthier's vest from FF12? Would you use paint?

hmm...depends. what are you making it out of? if fabric, i'd probably do an applique' (make the vest, put another layer of fabric for the large gold parts), and then satin stitch around the applique', as well as use a satin stitch to embroider the thinner lines. so at places where it's inconvenient to satin stitch, I'd finish by hand.
If leather, I'd emboss it.

uhh...it's like stamping leather to make it 3D or appear 3D. there's special tools for it, but you can get away with using weights and a hammer. and then emboss paint for leather. look up tutorials for it...
