My newish time dragon/draik.
And yes, I have five of them now.. Made his design last year though, I think. Need to work on my soft shading though..

Rather, the parts where you added in extra texture, such as the tail, the haunches and the back of the neck all look nice, but the problem is that everything else doesn't seem to match the same level of detail. For example, the feet looks like you forgot to detail them and just gave it simple shading. The face is kind of flat and the wings look like they're really bendy rulers. Also, I'm not sure if you intended it or not, but his back seems to have a ridge running along it that disappears where the tail joins the body.
Doesn't mean I don't like it, though. :[b]D[/b]

Ridge? You mean the grey things or something else? Those are supposed to be gears in his back (something unusual I felt like throwing in) and they end at before his tail, so that's intentional. If that's not what you mean, then nevermind.
I tried shading the feet the same as everywhere else, but you're right; I did that quickly because I didn't feel like magic wanding and shading each toe. XD I probably should have put more effort into it though. I didn't really set up the picture right for this sort of shading though, everything was on one layer >_>;
As for the wings, they're supposed to have a sort of mechanical feel to them, but I think I see what you mean.
