I believe that this is the same goose as in that last picture, only here, s/he is resting, taking a break from Canada geese's usual activity — pooping everywhere! They can be a real scourge in some urban environments, such as shopping mall parking lots. They are one of our national symbols, but they can be awfully dirty birds.
