It is a bit of a tight view along this street, but there it is. That building wing with the arched windows has since been named after Gabriel and Marcelle Chehebar. Gabriel died in 1998. He was apparently "a dedicated supporter and prominent leader of New York's Syrian Sephardic community" and also "a founder of the Shehebar Sephardic Center in Jerusalem". Now, I wonder if that's what this place is.........Well, I have looked into that, and if that isn't the place right there, it is right near it. A "Sephardic Educational Center" is marked on GoogleMaps right near this spot.
