Description You stumble through the darkness for an unknown amount of time.

A faint blue glow is off in the distance. As you head towards it, vague shapes start to form and the ground feels icy cold and slippery below your hooves. You make out the shape of a wall, covered in ice. Moving closer to the wall, you see a faint mural on the wall. It is hard to make out what is on the mural due a sheet of ice covering it, distorting the images.

What you think you can make out on the mural are creatures with either many legs, or many heads? Especially that pony there, what does he even need all those extra legs for!

"It seems you have found that which you have long sought, after fighting your way through the darkness so very fraught!"

Who said that?! You glance around but see nopony near you. You do however see a huge doorway to your right - how did you miss that! Nearing the gate, you notice a hooded figure, slumped on a wooden chair in front of the doorway.

Was this the thing that spoke to you? Hang on, haven't you seen this figure somewhere before? Your mouth still chattering from the cold, you attempt to ask the figure if it just spoke to you. Seemingly knowing what you were going to ask, the figure rises from its seat and lowers the head of their cloak.

The figure stands taller than you thought guessed, and only on two feet too. What really surprised you is that when the figure lowers their hood to reveal their face you are shown the skull of a dragon!

"I welcome thee, for I am the Caretaker of this specific Gate. It has been long since I have had company here, and more importantly, the company of one not so foul! I see you have many questions, ask away and I shall answer what I see fit!"

Your first question is along the lines of,
"Weren't you speaking in rhymes just a minute ago?"

The figure chuckles and replies;
"I acquired the habit of speaking in rhymes from a curious Zebra Herd that once lived in a grand city of many marvels, nearby. That was a long time ago, by your method of time.
I use to visit them from time to time. I indulged in the errand of gathering supplies to feast upon.

You seem confused. Let me explain, I do not need to invest in replenishing my energy and thus do not require nourishment. I must admit, I do miss the nostalgia of taste on occasion. I must also confess to enjoying bartering prices with shopkeepers. Such an amusing high value is placed on currency in these times."

You see where this dragon is going with this conversation and offer to sell the loot you have on you. The Dragon grins and lights a campfire in front of you with a fiery belch! He belches again, this time summoning a cosy blanket that he wraps around. Now that you are comfortable, and more importantly, warm, you both discuss a price range on any objects you have.

1 bit per Apple
1 bit per Banana
1 bit per Orange
3 bits per Muffin
3 bits per Cupcake
3 bits per Iced Cake
2 bits per Grass Sandwich
2 bits per portion of Hay Fries

2 bits for Flask of Spring Water
3 bits for a Flask of Lake Water
3 bits for a Flask of Water from Waterfall
4 bits for a Flask of Hot Chocolate

1 bit for a Daisy
2 bits for a Rose
5 bits for a Blue Orchid
2 bits for a Tulip
4 bits for a Moon Flower
5 bits for a Flower Fruit of the Dragon

5 bits for any Skis
5 bits for any Snowboards

3 bits for any Foal's Gold
3 bits for any Glass Diamonds

Once you have sold all you currently have to the Dragon you ask what happens now.

"Now, you must go. Though this Gate no longer acts as the containment it once did for savage monsters, it is still a dangerous place to loiter. I thank you for your company and supplies. I wish you well and good luck with your further adventures - trust me, this is only the beginning!"

The Dragon bows and gracefully removes the blanket around you before summoning up another fiery belch, which he directs at you. You feel the soft, warm lick of the ticklish flames as they engulf you.

---

You find yourself teleported outside a small town. Glancing at your surroundings, you conclude that this town is the home of the Railway Station, the one you would have stopped at had the train not broken down. You glance up at the Sky and notice the Sun setting. It has been a long day; you think to yourself and make your way to the nearby Hotel. You have earned a good night’s rest.
