Description 'Cause I couldn't think of a clever title for this.

So I treated myself for Christmas and bought myself a couple of games. One of them was Vanquish, which is something I've had my eye on for awhile. I wasn't sure what to make of it. I'd heard good things about it after doing some research, but really, I had heard anything at all about this game at all. It looked silly, had some cool ideas and stuff, sounds like my sort of thing, so why not? It was also cheap off of Amazon.
Best decision ever.
Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit. Really though, this game is awesome. I wouldn't be doing fanart about it if it wasn't lol. I highly recommend it.

Took the opportunity to test and play around with stuffs for this. I documented the process of sorts on my tumblr [link] and I shall be posting a WIP with some notes on dA soon. I shall link to that at the bottom of this description.

I need to download this game soon, but I need to deleteΒ a lot of old games that I don't play anymore since I'm running out of space... This sucks...

Whoa lol, I did a double take there when I saw the names! Now that you mention it, Bon Bon von Zaitzev makes total sense, with the clone and all.

There is a particular part during the final boss fight where Sam "rapid punch" duels both Zaitzevs at the same time before disabling the clone.

Aye, that scene is one of my favourites. The quick time events in that game were actually pretty cool and fun, something I looked forward to rather than 'arg, another quick time event'.

Or hey, I'm a big fan of Lyra x Bon Bon rather than Lyra VS. Bon Bon.

Bon Bon can be on the ground trying to get away from CRYSTAL VIPER and she can be about to be chopped in half when Lyra jumps in and does the "sword catch" Crystal Viper execution.

I finished it last week and it was great. The Game is simply amazing. A peferct pace and amount of action. Sadly only a few people know the game, and that there will be no Sequel.

Yeah, there isn't really a dull moment or a chance to get bored in Vanquish. Quite a good pacing.

Man, I had nothing to play recently and pulled out my Vanquish (DAT 3D CASE) and finally finished it.
I thought of doing this, except with Derpy as Sam, because DERPA.
This is awesome!

Only problem with the game is that it won't let you do a plus mode so you can finish leveling all the available weapons..
