Appreciate the complement - had great stock to use - and try to do both... realistic trying to fool the eye into thinking this is the way it is, as well at times doing a more paintery approach, for the pleasure and freedom that style brings.
And I have seen your work and enjoyed your gallery and thank you for stopping by mine.
Happy manipulating - and like your stamp rightly proclaims.... it is more then cut and paste.

LOL - don't tell no one, but wish I had of seen things I now do... sometimes get to absorbed in getting certain aspects, to see what was done earlier still.... could use some tweeks.
But it's done and posted, and unless there are major flaws, I move on.... to the next one.
Think otherwise would lead to madness - LOL....

Way it goes...
Wish had the patience, to let things.... "age"
And see them as though someone else had done it, might help, might not....
People in the "real world" standing at shoulder so to speak, don't see what concerns me - till I point it out - - - so think what is needed - LOL - is stop pointing the flaws out.
And perfection I think.... well that's overrated anyway.
Rationalizations is another specialty.

That's the truth
And have seen some work... that I thought had been "polished" to the point that it lost character, think sometimes, it's those little things, those small flaws... that's been left be, that lets us know it was a human that made it.

LOL wanting perfection in what we do... and seeing things after we thought we were done, and realizing at the same time - little variances in symmetry, and leaving in some of the "brushstrokes" might add life, do you suppose that's part of the artistic temperament that might make us do this in the first place?

Style - or a particular defining style is still something I try hard not to have... want to do it all, and think this confounds people. But at the same time.... lessens the depth obtained in any...

You know, I'm the same way, kind of. I try to do it all, too. But I am trying to work on making my art so that people can look at it and know I did it. Like some of the more successful artists you see usually have something defining about their art... Some aspect that you can know who did it. I don't think my art really has that now, but I wish it did.
But you know what they say- jack of all trades, master of none. XD I get bored doing the same thing for too long though, haha.

Keeps one at it - and have read that professional illustrators... become so typecast, that art editors call on them for there specialties... and if they try and change either there techniques... or genre for that matter, the checks stop coming...
Something I don't think I have to worry about - concluded this will remain a hobby for me - so still have exploring to do.
But you may already be working professionally - or well on that path, so would be of more concern.

Success to you and hope will drop me a note when your work is on a dustjacket or cd - - - or even - the next box of "new and improved"...... which may not seem as glamorous - but still pays one's bills.

The only reason I know this is multiple images is because I absolutely adore that costume, and keep going back to the model series hoping to find a way to use it myself XD
Very well done!
