great atmosphere! i think the only thing that bugs me a little bit is the faint white outline around her, it makes her look a bit pasted into the picture as opposed to a part of it. other than that, love the composition!

Monitor's set different then mine... did do a "blurred" shadowing to aide in the blending... might be that showing up different on your machine, then on mine... Will check mine's calibration.

i looked at it from my calibrated monitor here at work, in a graphic design studio.
i'd select the layer of the girl, feather the selection by about 2 pixels, then invert, and delete. it should do the trick just fine.

Old school... will more likely just use the eraser at a low transparancy setting... zoom to max, and nudge... click... nudge.. click... slower perhaps, but retains more of the original. Hobbyist, so time isn't the issue...
