The more I lark about the SS91 The Fallen, the more I appreciate the improvements in its engineering over the 2009 figure. It's still completely weird, it still doesn't quite fit into the TransFormers franchise, but it's a truly striking design, well engineered - for what it is - with surprisingly well-implemented articulation... even if it is missing a joint below the knee. The jointing of the 'tendons' connecting the torso to the forearm isn't ideal, and they have to be popped apart for some poses (such as the one pictured), but it manages to look great even then.
