Description This series of battlemaps made using Dungeon Alchemist, are 70 ppi and have various dimensions if you are putting them in your favorite vtt. Also, all of these maps are from a 3D view, so the graph spaces WILL NOT line up no matter what you do, because they don't even line up on the map. If you need an orthographic view, I will be happy to provide it. You can check a map's dimensions by looking at the Detail tab in the file's Properties which you can access by right-clicking the file (in most Windows setups). Mac users, you're on your own with that, sorry.

The idea for this set is that a holy place was defiled centuries ago, allowing a pocket of what is essentially "Hell" in my campaign world, to exist in the material plane. The theme for these is lots of blood, sparks, and a few sfx. There are many half-buried ruins, and plenty of partially buried iron maidens that sometimes hold mortals who got caught by the fiends inhabiting the place. The fiend in charge is Besheba, rebranded as a demon lady for my personal campaign (originally an FR god).

As a side note, I first saw the term demonground used in Dark Conspiracy, which was a futuristic RPG that combined aliens, fantasy, and a dark future in an X-files like manner. The system itself was not all that impressive, and now dated quite a bit, but if you can find a pdf it does have some very entertaining ideas about the future - a few of which have come to pass.

Most of the maps are just for encounters and not that exciting, some others have a lot of stuff to spark the imagination. When I originally made them, I exported them for tabletop play at 300 DPI - each one was around 60Mb, well over DA's limit, so I decided to resize them for Roll20. As usual, if you need the base file for Dungeon Alchemist, the text file for dynamic lighting, or a high-res version, contact me and I'll be happy to provide them.
