Recently, I had found out about this neat fighter game series called "Blazblue." It's a neat bunch of fighter games similar to Skullgirls in ways, and it's certainly interesting, especially compared to most other games of that type that I've played. I wouldn't say I'm a total fan of it, but I can say that I do find Blazblue to be rather interesting in ways.
This is a drawing I did of my most favorite Blazblue character of all, Platinum The Trinity. Platinum is just so adorable and poofy and snuggly, and she's a Magical Girl too! Not only that, but she has a very interesting feature about her. Platinum actually has the souls of three different people in her body (which is where "The Trinity" part of her name comes from), one of a very sweet and respectful boy, one of a rude and obnoxious girl, and one of a deceased Legendary Warrior. The three souls constantly change between who is operating her body, which on the outside, makes it appear as if she changes personalities quite unexpectedly, and she can be quite unpredictable for that reason. She's also got some amazing Magical Girl powers for her attacks, and she's done some rather crazy things, such as the Warrior Consciousness part of her actually once sacrificed a number of War Victim's souls in order to create one of the most powerful weapons ever for herself to call upon and use. Platinum is just so awesome, and ever so cute and cuddly! Another interesting part that I like about Platinum is that she has the same voice actress as Madoka Kaname too!
This originally started as a sort of practice sketch, but then I decided to go farther with it, and soon it ended up as a full piece. I tried to improve on some things here, and I am actually impressed on how far I eventually went with this. I really like how I did the effects, such as the Heart shapes on Platinum's eyes, the way I drew her hair, and the effects I did on her buttons and bell. The background I wanted to look super cute, but not just heart shapes like many of my others, so I put a light blue BG with cute stars around her. I can hardly begin to describe how cute this one turned out, and it's so fitting for sweet little Platinum too.
