Personality:
+ Quiet
+ Intelligent
+ A bit considerate
+ Hospitable

- Paranoid
- Antisocial
- Somewhat reclusive (he refuses to leave Dwocia unless for official business, but even then he usually requests that the other monarchs visit him or they send ambassadors.)
- Somewhat cold

History:

His mother was lovely. A beautiful, young woman of Roquelaure, the heir's older sister, even. His father was a Weavile, and he shared most of his father's appearance when he was a young little Sneasel, only having the small body of his mother. He was sheltered away from his father for the most part when he was younger, only knowing the luxuries of royalty, and he was almost oblivious to what was going on in Dwocia's social classes. He was quiet and ignorant to everything and was catered to his every whim.

As he grew up and matured, Nikolay was continuously bored by the life he had, sheltered in the palace. The same thing every day. Learn etiquette, have lunch, learn about ruling the country, have supper, schooling, get ready for bed, et cetera. It was so boring. He easily fell asleep when being approached about how the country should be run when his father passed and he would have to take over the country himself. It was then that his boredom started subtle rebellion, when he'd go missing for sometimes days from the palace, sneaking out and buying peasant clothes for himself (the larger app picture shows better, though he doesn't wear a badge), claiming that the clothes were his father's and masquerading around as a peasant to try and get more thrill out of his life, and he did. He would run around with the peasants, play with some of the people his age, and it served as entertainment for him, despite palace guards looking for him wherever he went, and running from them around Lipovskiy was more difficult than it seemed to look.

He would usually return from his adventures outside a few days later, very in the know about how the people in his country were, and bringing some food for the people whom he considered his friends from the palace, claiming he stole them.

This fun tradition continued, even as more problems such as hunger and famine developed in his country and the family of the people he would normally visit.

It kind of upset him, developing a care for the people whom he would be soon to rule, and as if to smack him in the face, his parents had passed due to illness shortly after, devastating the somewhat young heir. He was back to living his sheltered life, trying his best to bring food to his people through trade routes and many other things, going so far as to negotiate things with his Uncle, the Roi of Roquelaure, whenever his Uncle did come by for a visit, but he knew he wasn't a spoiled brat, and trying to cut off relations to other countries would be the death of his.

As much as he was scared of the starvation of his people, among other things, he was paranoid about entering a war.

Likes:

+ Solitude
+ Conversing with his subjects
+ Uncle Francois
+ Reading
+ Walking around Lipovskiy dressed as a peasant :'I

Dislikes:

- Frealian and Roquelaure
- Seeing his subjects starving
- Uncle Francois
- War (Paranoia)
- BEING RECOGNIZED AS THE TSAR IN PUBLIC

Fears:

- Being recognized as entering the Frealian and Roquelaure's war.
- Coming to find that his subjects actually want to throw rocks at him for being such a shitty ruler
- He has abandonment issues
- Revolution
- Other rulers

[kk, alrighty then...I shall start.]

Sasha had been on his break from driving a pick ax into the earth for nearly 4 hours into the day. He sat outside the entrance to the clearly visible hole in the wall of a mountain, resting on a large boulder that had been removed when they first opened the tunnel. He raised his canteen to his lips, taking a nice swig of much-needed water. He heard that two men had been found dead at the bottom of a 20 foot shaft that lead down deeper to the newly developing area within the mine. The funny thing was that Sasha had walked by the area before and was debating whether or not to probe that area. He thanked his instincts that said "no, better keep working." It's a chilling fact, to know that the worker count is always fluctuating. But who else is going to do this dangerous job? The flygon took another drink of his water, before setting back in his knapsack and grabbing his pick ax. A good re-sharpening wouldn't hurt, so he stood outside the mine, off to the side, and set to work on sharpening his tool.

[[K!]]

Nikolay wrapped his coat tighter around him as he walked towards the mining area. It was kind of his job to be checking around, but he was dressed like he normally did when he was out in public, like a peasant. He didn't visit Stanichnaya's suburbs often, so he had to be checking around to make sure everything was okay. "..." He frowned a little bit when he came upon the mines, and he'd probably have been turned away, so he'd have to be stealthy. He jumped upwards onto some of the rocks, though he ended up falling over. YOU'RE NOT PHYSICALLY FIT STOP THAT NIKO.

What the heck was that? Sasha paused with the pick ax in hand and sharpening rock in the other. That sounded like a good thump. For the sake of his own life and many others, he had to make sure it wasn't some type of animal that could destroy man within a swipe of its claw. He put the rock down, but kept the ax with him, sneaking to the round corner of a huge rock wall. The flygon pressed himself against the wall, peeking out ever so slightly so that he may catch just a glimpse of this creature. A dark coat was all he needed to assume it was a wild animal that was probably rummaging for food. Well shoot, that's just great. Either be successful and kill the animal, or die a painful death. Honor or no honor. He must have felt stupid because he was regretting his next movement. He held the pick ax over his head as if to plunge the tool into the creature's think fur and ran towards it like he was lightning. But as he came closer to the figure, he discovered that was in fact not an animal, but a man. Sasha stopped short just before the man, and ended up slipping on a wet piece of ground, most likely from previously fallen snow, with the ax landing right next to him. Pure emotions of bewilderment and irritation aroused in him as he tried to speak. "You-....what are you doing here? Who are you?" Of course, all of this was spoken in his native tongue.

As quickly as he had fallen, the Weavile was on his feet, his eyes a bit wide as he pulled his gloves tighter around his hands, hoping they weren't drenched with snow, and started to rub his back a little bit, he also replied in Dwocian, "No need to worry, I'm just looking around... exploring." He didn't answer the question as to who he was. Saying his name would probably give him away, and that wasn't what he wanted. He was a man of peasantry for now. "I could be asking you the same question. Who are you?" He held a hand out, attempting to help the smaller miner up off the ice.

He took no offer of the hand, and stood up, brushing off his pants and picking up his pick ax. He gave a mysterious-type of look, not wanting to be too open, but also not wanting to be too closed. The flygon arched a brow, and tilted his head back, feeling a little skeptical about this man. "Can't you see? I work here," he flicked his pick ax and rested it on his shoulder. "I am Sasha. I work in these mines here, but I have not seen your face before. It is dangerous to muddle about near a mine. So that is why I am asking, what are you doing here, and who are you?" This character seemed odd. Why would he be exploring around a mine? As if the dangers weren't as threatening inside, imagine what could happen outside. Tremors from the surface could send rocks tumbling downward on the workers, or even set off a horde of boulders, bumbling down the mountain. Hidden shafts from below that led to the surface was what Sasha worried about the most. He didn't want to come across the body of a little girl who stumbled upon the pitch black chutes. If there were causes of death in Dwocia, it would be how many citizens were killed on the job.
