Hello, I found this piece in #Xpose-it 's critique folder.
The first thing I really liked about this piece was the simple visual of it. I like how it's not all sorts of gore everywhere and chaos throughout the photo. It's quite nice in that aspect.
There are a few things I notice,
First thing was, the bottom of her lip is covered in blood, but the top is perfectly untainted. It seems a bit odd, I've bled from my mouth, and it didn't cover my bottom lip completely or leave my top lip alone. Maybe if there were just a little on top and the bottom were a little less consistent, it'd give a more 'natural' feel to it. Also, the blood seems a little bit too bright, bring on her lips and chin.
One suggestion I have, is maybe for the lip ring, if it were a full circle one instead. I'm not completely sure on how well that'd work, but I think it'd be more noticeable and full for this piece.
The final thing is, her mouth is full of blood and so peaceful, maybe if it were open just a little bit more, so you could actually see a little bit of the teeth?
Other than those few things, like I said the simplicity is nice. I like the soft lighting throughout the picture and how pale her skin is. It works well and contrasts nicely with the blood.
I also like the frame, though, I do think maybe if you could have gotten the left corner of her mouth in the photo as well. But I like the forward angle and the way you focus on just her mouth and nothing else is in the photo.
I also like how the blood drips all the way through the picture and keeps going. It adds something to it I think. That there's more to it, but, it is what it is. Nice work (=e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="

I'd like to see the contrast a little stronger here but I think that's due to personal preference rather than any lack of skill in this photo.
You did a great job, the blood looks real and I particularly like the piercings, they look like bubbles.
