There are dark legends that have been passed through the ages, from village to village and town to town, and eventually from city to city. Most pass these tales off as myth and fable, and these stories have mutated from generation to generation. But still a singular truth remains in all the telling. Of a dark and powerful human-like species known traditionally as Vampyre, or in the common tongue, Vampire. Undying, beautiful and predatory, the chronicles of these creatures is far too widespread to be invention or allegory. They exist in the twilight between life and death, coursing with passion and sexuality, starving for blood and flesh. They are hiding among us, in the shadows and the dark of night. They ride next to us in subways, and trains. They are Immortal.
