Description

A webcomic which genre can be better described as "kiddie quest gone wrong", Northern District tells the story of Alan Doyle, a mischievous and determined 12-year-old.

The Northern District is a land of magic, as their people are in control of animal spirits, projections of their very souls, gifted by the gods centuries ago. Or at least it was, until their human nature got them into a bizarre state of control.

In the middle of a cruel and strict dictatorship, Alan is lucky enough to live in the only town that seems to be safe: Sybil. This drastically changes when his mother disappears, and he decides to go and find her. Blissfully unaware of the dangers around them, he and his best friend, Christopher Copper, start travelling across the district in the search oh the legendary Rebel Brigade, with the purpose of getting their help to find their parents. But things don't go as planned, as they begin to discover incredible secrets about the land they live in, from political issues and racial segregation, to old traditions and magic powers living within their souls.

With the help of Kurt, a runaway teenager with a dark past; Oliver and Pepper, two officers who escaped the capital city; and the ex-rebels Calem and Alex, the kids grow up as they learn about the rebel's original plan, and the only visible option to calm down the tense situation- the summonning of the legendary White Spirit, which can be achieved... But not without making some sacrifices. Now it's time to act- there's nothing left! The ending is near, and the threat of destruction at their own hands is over them.

Aah, so here we are. Typing the plot makes me realize how sprawled it is- but it still makes something, so I guess it's not that bad!
It's been about two years since I started working on it, and sure there's a lot of things I'd like to change and improve, but I'm still quite proud of getting to this point. A giant thank you to all the people that has supported me during this time! And stay in tune, this is not done just yet~

I'm not all too appy with the cover page itself, but I like the concept. If you have any comments, please tell me!
