Description I originally made the head on a whim after completing Roll because I knew I would not have the time to make any human characters...but I kept working on it and this was the result! 8) I even stayed up til 2AM on Nov 11, 2007 to finish...XD

This massive Sculpey clay figure is 5 inches tall, which makes the size of a normal Sonic action figure you'd buy at the local toy stores! The steel wires attaching the head, arms, and legs also make such a "skinny" figure able to stand and support it's weight! Oh and lastly, I originally had both arms held outwards in a "stop" motion but those got burned during baking.

Heh, nice work! I bet sculpting Super Sonic's quills along with the head was a pain. This is probably the best hand-made Super Sonic ive seen so far though!

Actually it wasn't so bad...the head has aluminum on the inside, so the spikes I made were seperate and attached with metal wires, then "cleaned" so it all looks connected.

THanks for the kind words. U aint seen nuthin' yet!!!

Huh...i may one day sculpt my one super sonic figure (along with some other forms of Sonic), So I'll definatley take note of that! Weights always something to worry about when making something out of any kinda clay- least from my experience, eheh. XD;

the thing is tho, Ive never really thought of that. Its more about "balance"...but as u can see, even the skinniest arms and legs can hold if u have enough support in em

And i guess that's where wires come in handy. XD

that looks amazing! I also made a supersonic figure about the same size, in the Sonic Adventure style, but your hands and face look better than mine. The only flaw is that you added an extra spine in the middle, but that's just me nit picking.

actually there are two spines based on the refrences I looked at...still thx for the kind words. I've been at this "clay thing" for a while now...hahaha

lolz so do I.

But Ive gotten real good at making things balance...hell even waaaayyy back i had "Jackel" from NIGHTS stand up...and its body is a posterboard and hardened string attached to feet
