Gorgeous scene. I have never seen a sky like that. Not
even in the movies.

You are so humble

I wish I could draw. I would start
the book right now. These things can
easily be sold on the Internet now
you know.

I have never tried to sell anything, I never think my pictures are good enough.

You should let them decide what they
want to buy. Especially here where
I is so easy. If it's cheap enough to
sell then try it.

My most faved picture "Moon River" was
one I did not put even post until after
a year. So it took other people to tell me
it had special value. I don't sell because
I really don't have the time to get involved
at all. I have done greeting cards and
calendars for the family every year and that
is a lot for me. Like I said, I can't draw.

Tell me about your toys. (We can note if you'd
rather).

I will note you tomorrow about them. It is almost bedtime here my friend, and I'm tired. See you soon, Eileen

I've been to Orkney, back in'69. We were support climbers for the BBC TV outside broadcast of the climbing of the Old Man of Hoy that August Back Holiday, Loved every minute of it, spent a lot of down time at Maes Howe & went up to Skara Brae after the broadcast. Are there many ancient sites on Shetland?

Yes, Jarlshof is the biggest site we have here. Also Old Scatness, which they are still working at

I remember seeing that programme on the tv, not too long ago. It was really good I don't remember it at the time

Jarlshof, of course. I forgot about that. Ed Doughton would be very annoyed if he knew. He spent a number of seasons digging there, he's an archaeological potter & metal worker. Him & me are the long & short of it. He stands 6ft8in & me 5ft6in

Crikey, that's 40yrs ago we did that, could have been an anniversary showing.
Wish I'd know, would have recorded it.

Well it maybe was a year or so ago I saw the programme, not that long ago. You said it was filmed in 1969, I would have only been 4 so I don't remember when it was first shown :giggle;
And at 5ft 6" you are the same height as me
