I think 5 is my favorite, but I really love 10 as well.

This is fantastic! I love the graphic design here. Nice use of simple colors. Modest but still flashy with a bit of a retro feel to it. <3

Maybe I'm just simple, or maybe I just really love Wild Life Natural National Parks whatever like Yellowstone, but I'm a crazy fan of 11. It's easy on the eye, it looks official, and it's not busy and cheeky. If you want something sleek, go with 10.

I like 3 a lot. C: It's clean-cut and simple, pretty easy to read. If you were to keep the red-gold color palette, I think putting "social algorithms" in red text on a gold background makes the words pop more. Also, the white definitely makes it stand out.

I love 5, but the colours for 10 and 11 appeal more to me. The general idea of the logo is great though, can't wait to see what you finally decide on.

Number 4 is my favorite for the header. Nice and simplistic. Though maybe once the story gets more complicated (as I am assuming it could be) you could add more arrows each chapter until its this giant, unwieldy arrow craziness... just like how politics get more complicated as time goes on.
do you see what i did there.

5 is by far the best, imo. The others (by and large) give off a sort of....late 80s textbook vibe.
Although the McDonald's color scheme is questionable.

Yum! P= I honestly can't think of any suggestions except MAYBE flip the directions of the arrows, so it looks like you're pointing to the pages after ("this is gonna be chapter 5, yo") instead of the other way around. But that's a tiny nitpick!

I don't know shit about logotypes, but I guess that could still be useful to you since probably a majority of people viewing them don't know about them either. Right off the bat 5 caught my eye... probably because the main title is in high contrast with that light font color, and that leads to the next arrow with the chapter title. 3 did the reverse where I looked at the chapter title first because it was lighter, then looked up at the heading above it. Numbers 4, 6 and 7 were not distinct enough for them to stand out. It also matters what field they'll be on, like what the color of your website is, since the ones that look good to me here are the ones that look good on the da background. 1 would be good on side of something? Like if you've seen those Sage Comics wraparound ads on the corners of webpages, but I'd be annoyed if it was the main logo since you kind of have to acquiesce to the angle. 2 is better but for some reason my eye settles on "Operandi" first, then moves around to the rest of the logo. ANYWAYS that is my uneducated breakdown of why I like number 5 the best.

Shoot, I thought I responded to this, dA ate my response (???)
5 (now 9) seems to be widely favored. I don't want to give up on my other idea, though (new 7-11 weren't intended to be header logos) SO I WILL TRY SOME MORE. If nothing else, at least if I can't design something else satisfactory, I can fall back on it.
Anyway, I made some variants (new 1-4) to see if they read any better. My eye was reading "OPERANDI" first, too, so that seems to be an issue! The new ones follow more clearly, at least.

Success~
I'm pretty partial to 5, 6 (feels so right), and 2. 7 is not bad at all.
1 tips the scale over into "too stiff".

Actually, now that that specific logo is over a black background and it looks much better. All of these do. Even 8. 3:;
Primarily the tilt is too high for me.
I like 1 very much.

7 is my favorite, I like the way the colors work together but you're going for the red-yellow thing here. Out of the color variations I think 5 or 4 work the best, I also like the simpler logotype version. Although 1 seems to work better than two (it feels more dynamic, where 2 seems just flat and off. PS I like the stroke on the arrow in the alternate logotype.
Sorry, I hope that made sense it was a little all over the place.

That's A-OK, that's why there are many variants!
Of that palette, I think =lazysmirk and I will use 5 the most, 4 sometimes, and 3 probably never, because it calls undue attention to the subtitle.

Unf, that is logo.
Let me know when I can throw money at you to get it on hats, shirts and bedsheets! :'D
I am so serious I kinda love the off-set look on 1, I think the arrows as a repeating pattern would be rad. Maybe I am odd.

I do not really like 1 or 2 to be wholly honest, splitting MODUS and OPERANDI that way for some reason just... doesn't click with me...! But I actually like how it came out in the Einhardt and Crossroads palettes. *u*

I love the overall shape! On second inspection, I don't even really mind Modus and Operandi being split, it's more having the chapter title in the same backdrop color as part of the title that way, I think. Makes it feel like the chapter reads as part of the ACTUAL comic's name.
MAYBE WHAT I'D LIKE is like... Idk, if I could see that WITHOUT the chapter title added on, as an official logo sort of thing? 'Cause ya know, you can't have the chapter title on everything, sometimes you may just want Modus Operandi by itself.
