I actually really enjoy the effect of this image. The pure simplicity of it blended with the bright splashes of colors from the background stand out to me. I like that you're left with the feeling that everything has purpose. And though the Colors on the girl are all black and white, everything is still very defined. It seems to be a unique takeoff on a style that has been attempted before. The colors add a dramatic effect that can take place without even having to see the expression on the girls face. The technique is beautiful, and it is something that will add curiosity to the work. Wonderful!

First of all this is my first critique so we'll see how this goes. I found this piece extremely fun to look at, especially if you have heard the song before. I think you did a great job capturing the essence of Lonely Lullaby, hence the 5 star impact. For vision, I LOVE anyone who can pull off a good splatter paint rainbow although there was a SLIGHT leak onto the umbrella. Sorry. But that brings me to my next point, fantastic job on the girl, I love everything about her. Keep it up, and again spectacular job!

This is a very beautiful artwork.
From the first look I was extremely pulled by it's wonderful play of colours. The contrast of the girl and the background colour is making it pop from the background. The shading on the clothes and umbrella are very detailed and it's a very amazing artwork overall. However, I've seen quite a few of these kinds of drawings that, unfortunately, doesn't really give any feeling of newness. Also, the colour drips on the umbrella seems a bit mixed up but it might be your intention of doing that. Nonetheless, I think you've done a great job on this and I'd love to see more.
