Oh wow; she's...lovely. Though I have mixed feelings about her and any Pearl who isn't our Pearl. A slave race (whether they're happy, like House-Elves from "Harry Potter", or not) gives me the worries unless we see that they're generally well-treated...which we see is not true for not just Pearls but ANY gem that isn't high-class. Brr...
This makes a conversation I had yesterday with a friend about her Gemsona all the more depressingly logical. Said Gemsona is a blue amber (chosen because said friend's name is Amber but amber variants are uncommon as Gem OCs) who was part of an experiment to create organic gem warriors. However the experiment resulted in warriors that had to eat and had animalistic behaviors (Blue Amber will randomly chew on things and Gems, like a puppy) so the project was scrapped.
Added to this is my decision to make my Gemsona (undecided as of yet but definitely purple in color; may or may not be a purple diamond since diamonds are my birthstone but we'll see) a runaway royal. She may have been given Blue Amber as a pet but things...changed.
I may also give my sona a personal pearl based on one of the variants of Pearls with the appropriate coloring.

She looks a lot like Lapis. I wonder if she was a member of blue diamonds court?

If you look at all the silhouetted Gems at around 1:31 in the episode there's one that to me is almost unmistakably Lapis. Even more curious you don't see that particular silhouette in any of the subsequent group shots.

Weird how all the Rubies looked alike (except for Gem Location), but the Pearls did not.

I imagine that's because Pearls are a status symbol and appearance is important, whereas Ruby's are soldiers; how they look isn't important.
