Was that really admitted or was that just some trivia on an unreliable wiki? Would make a lot more sense if they were inspired by an actual flower girl, like Lilimon, not some fake flower girl.

It is not a plant and 50% of the cases also not a girl. So it is more Flower Girls and thing that looks like a Flower Girl, but isn't one.
