I wanted to touch up the designs of the Lunanoff family from GOC / ROTG

1. Tsar Lunanoff : he had this green german military uniform, and I just didn't think his color scheme was fitting for a moon king. William joyce likes to base things off of very earthly concepts / cultures without thinking outside of the box. He gives characters very oddly common names from time to time and his designs don't fit the idea of space to me.
I kept the overall design, but changed the colors, gave him gloves, more moon amulet patters on his sash and belt, ect... Made him look more of royalty than military. His soldiers were pretty much just robots and creatures after all, and they didn't wear uniforms akin to Tsar's, so a military uniform such as his wouldn't need to be so profound.

2. Tsarina Lunanoff: I liked her puffy dress design, (it looked like a cloud) and I just stylized it a little more. I also gave her puffy and long sleeves. Gave her a necklace and gave both her and Tsar these moon crowns.
Each member of moon royalty wears a golden moon shaped earring on at least one of their ears as a symbol of their status.

3.MIM / Tsar junior: I've never personally cared for his adult design, so I wanted to try to draw him when he was younger. I imagine him akin to Jack, alone without many memories, free of responsibility, someone who would stay a boy.... basically timeless.
His sleeves are a little odd, I couldn't decide whether I liked puffy to long wrap sleeves or just a long cloak sleeve, so I went with both, but if you could actually see the difference between the sleeves it'd probably look strange, so I'll have to decide on what looks best later on for him.
I also gave him more hair. I found it odd that his parents would be both black-haired while he'd be mostly bald but with a single blonde hair, so I originally wanted to make his parents have white/blonde hair, but I thought it looked strange on them. It just didn't contrast their outfits, their moon crowns wouldn't stand out. So I gave them platinum blonde streaks in their hair to make them seem more related to their son.

4.Nightlight: Nightlight is the design I've stuck with for a long time now. His armor in the books was always not very well-defined, and I for some reason never cared about his entire body being made of light. I always liked darker armor on him for some strange reason. I feel like his hair, eyes, and lights in his armor would glow brightly depending on his emotions... I kind of went a Loki(Thor) way with him. I theorize that he was adopted by the Lunanoff family, and as a child, his entire body glowed like stars because thats all he saw. But when he came across Tsar and Tsarina, he mimicked their form. To him they still felt just as warm as the stars he passed by, but calmer and they were the first to ask him to stay with them. So naturally he wanted to be like them and so his body's light retreated into his body to accommodate for his situation.
I also gave him puffy sleeves here just to help him mimic Tsarina's puffs, considering MIM takes after his father's design it wouldn't hurt for Nightlight to take a little fashion advice from his adoptive mother.
Nightlight was also bestowed with the ear-moon-ring symbol of royalty. He may not be of official blood, but he is a descendent of a star, which is considered a different type of royalty in the Lunanoff's book, so he was graciously and easily accepted into their court.

To me, each family member represents some kind of space theme.
Tsar would be a constellation.
Nightlight would be a bright blue star/sun.
MIM would probably be a small moon.
and Tsarina would represent a nebula.

This drawing took a long time to finish, but I'm proud of how it turned out <3
