I love how Toad is the only one completely chill! You really do a great job drawing objects/people in motion!  

Finally a Mario Tennis game (I don't count Sports Superstars because tennis isn't the only game available.) that has me actually considering buying the console JUST for the game! I don't have a Switch yet, none of the games really had me "OMGOSH I HAVE TO HAVE IT!" that I was wanting to buy an entire console just to play one game. I haven't had a Mario Tennis game that I was this excited for since Mario Power Tennis (I LOVE that game to pieces, my only 'complaint' about it, is that it didn't have Birdo in it. ) Maybe we'll finally have a tennis game that will boot Mario Power Tennis off of my 'favorite game of all time (or at the very least favorite TENNIS game of all time)' slot? We have our tournament mode back, we have a story mode (that looks like it'll actually be good) AND we get Birdo! MC's hype is through the roof!

The only thing I'm not very excited about is the whole "Your racket breaks you forfeit the entire match" bit....Though I think they've mentioned something about buying a 'backup' racket from the shops, that could 'save' you from an automatic forfeit, so I'm not as paranoid about it as I was originally.

I love the hype this game is getting the Mario Tennis DEFINITELY deserve's something like Ace's.I was highly despointed they didn't put any effort into Ultra Smash I mainly wanted to see really cute double animations with Bowser Jr and Toadette and I'm happy they decided to give Mario Tennis another shot and hopefully learn from their mistakes



also you can turn off the racket break in settings and only play in normal settings if you really want is what I heard in the direct

Yeah I was very disappointed in Ultra Smash as well...The ONLY thing I could 'compliment' it for was graphics THAT'S it.... Everything else was garbage...

I hope they bring the trophy celebrations back, like they had in Power Tennis. It showed that heart was put into the game, NOT just an obvious (and lazy) attempt to get money. While I'm not a fan of golf, Mario Power Tennis and Mario Golf Toadstool Tour are two games that I always find myself coming back to (despite how old they are), because of the obvious heart that was put into them. I just hope the same heart comes back in Aces! (Plus the little animations and intros are hilarious to watch! )

Is that only for 'free play' modes? (I say 'free play' since I don't remember what the official name of the mode is. ) Or is that an option in the story/tournament modes as well?

Too bad Bowser Jr. is still glued to his Clown Car.

I don't get why Nintendo seems to have a fetish of having Bowser Jr. in his Clown Car in almost all of his modern appearances.
