The forty-seventh strip. Halloween - 2011. I tried to make the backgrounds more detailed unlike some of my recent strips. Funny because I only drew one background and copied it over and over for certain panels. Also, you'll see that I am featuring the zombie Ghostface mask in this strip. Sadako's costume was hard at first, but after the first panel, I was excited to draw it again. As for Sam in the last panel, that wasn't originally planed until the last minute. The idea is thanks to my girlfriend, !TarynWhite . If it wasn't for her and her obsession with Vocaloid, this strip would never have been made. I thank you, love.I shall soon give a link to the group shot of the main cast in their costumes.
On Halloween night, Sadako shows off her costume to her boyfriend. He has no idea who she is supposed to be. Do you?

Oh! I remember Hatsune Miku! Not her biggest fan but she's pretty awesome! Like most anime girls, she so pretty and has such a cute, high-pitched voice! Β Ahh... she brings back so many memories... This girl last year was also moving to Korea and (since she loves art and writing) we all made her some and put it together in a book. I made the cover and put Hatsune Miku on the front saying, "Express yourself!" because music and art are both types of self-expression. and kinda like that coffee mate commercial i once saw. That day, I got a lot of attention from Hatsune Miku fans (who I considered to be the cool girls. so it was pretty fun! 
Then I found out my good friend Daniella was a fan too. She and Sadako would get along because she's such a Japan nut (even more so than me) and shows me all these crazy anime shows/books and we were into drawing them for a little while. Oh and she picked up some Japanese and is always like, "Kawaii!" and stuff like that. Plus she's the kind of girl who gets along with everyone so yeah Β

Hah, been there Stu = =; A lot of friends I met on dA adored Vocaloid and talked about it and I'm just there like ".....wtf is a Miku?" I eventually looked it up after seeing a very good song; the songs are mostly creepy and Miku is who I find the creepiest - have you watched the Alice in Wonderland video? I suggest you get it with a translation on YouTube, it's an amazing creepy story that I intend to one day tell to kids. And there's a series about Evil; Princess of Evil, Servant of Evil - they all make a wonderful story when you watch them in order.
My favorite however is Just Be Friends by another Vocaloid - Luka. It has a nice rhythym.
