for fun, I saw this contest in the news a while ago and I like MMOs
and dressing up my MMO characters.I nearly ended up painting little cat prints on everything..

about the colours - I read somewhere that in one of his letters to his brother Van Gogh mentioned that the best contrast colour for any primary colour (eg blue) is the secondary colour made up of the other two primaries (for blue this means red + yellow = orange). works for all three. a magnificent revelation!! though I don't know why he would tell his brother (who was not a painter I'm sure)

The contrast colours - eg. blue + orange - is also called complimentary colours. Purple + yellow, green + red, and so on and so forth. It's really fun to play around with.
