Fear my title of absurd double entendre.I've been working on this for a few days--my fun project when I get burnt out on badges for the evening.
I'm not sure what to say about it. I have a difficult time reconciling realistic painting and cartoon elements. I feel like I fought with it a good deal. Which is probably good for me, but can be very discouraging. Well, practice is what it takes. I just need to do more genuine figurative work, and I imagine it will eventually sort itself out.

This really is gorgeous! I love the colors and the expressions of Yugi's and Yami's faces. They look so realistic and if Yugi was actually real in real life, I have no doubt he would look just like that!

I've been looking all over the place for a realistic looking Yugi, and this is by FAR the best I've ever seen. The way you did the hairstyle, and the fact that his face isn't Asian (as would be expected) makes it look like this could be a real life version of Yugi, while still retaining the right elements from his design in the show. Again, I say AWESOME!!

Yuugiou was a series I always thought had more potential in its premise than ever played out. But this piece shows the potential. The climax of an incredible, emotional story is clearly implied. If the entire series were more like this...

Wow you did an awesome job of drawing Yugi and Yami. Its kinda strange seeing them semi-realistic though, but I do love the way you portrayed them! Especially their hair, doesn't look like cardboard anymore XD
