A pencil pic I did this evening. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to do color or not, but... I'm sick of color (even though it sells better) and I LOVE pencil... This is a mix between some vedic theme and the idea of a leopard having a 'coat of eyes'. I intend, also, to make an anthro whose spots look more like eyes. Creepy eyes all over its body

the eyes on it are unusual but it looks great and i agree i only started to do colour cause i was sick of trying to add so many tones in my opinion sometimes black and white looks way better what do u think ?

I love ink and graphite works and would much prefer to buy those over colour works.
I also prefer to cross stitch sketches as they make absolutely stunning finished pieces.

The way the spots were done was very cool! It's like using nature's camoflauge technique from certain butterflies.

forget color, your pencil works are so detailed and beautiful that they're actually better than colors.
Besides, colors only look good for pop art, everything else looks better in pencil.

Beautiful!! The closed eyelid actually fooled me for a bit until I looked closer...I really like how you manipulated the spots to look like eyes...it still looks natural, though! Excellent!

Very beautiful. The fur looks real. the left eye is a little wierd. has a creepy feel to it. It messes with my head. THe right eye is awesome though! I guess the contrast is what messed with me the most. I couldn't understand if you could make an awesome eye why would you do that to the left eye? I like it though. I like a piece that makes me think even if it does confuse me.

XD the left eye is closed. the 'pupil' is a marking on its eyelid. Thus far, you're the only person it's fooled completely.
