Gah, I keep forgetting to upload this. A commisson for Raven Dynamo ---> She approached me a while back with a commission she wanted, and as I was in something of a commission black hole (Either waiting for approval on a first stage, payment, ect. ) I agreed to do it for her. It did not take me too terribly long and was fun to work on.Related content

how do you make the color of the char fade into the background like that? Do you put a layer of the background color only slightly transparent over the part you want faded or...?

Yes, but don't fade 100% unless you want the character to completely fade

I adore the contast between blue tones and creamy ones here, they work really well togehter, and your shading makes everything perfect! I also really like the pose here, and how you marked every muscle accordingly to it, it makes the movement seem stronger. Plus the detail on that mouth... you can make this kind of fantasy characters so realistic at the same time!
