Huh, cool! I always figured acrylics would make the paper buckle a ton... Do you have to stretch it first?

I use very thick paper and then squish it flat afterward. You can stretch paper, especially the watercolor kind, but I find that a pain in the ass. I'd prefer to flatten after.

Ah, I see! Stretching paper is a huge pain in the ass, I'm trying to find a decent alternative for super wet stuff. Currently I tape it down as hard as I can and pray it'll dry sorta kinda maybe flat-ish. Do you have to re-wet it to squish it flat after?

Yeah it really is. I did it for my watercolor class but didn't enjoy it 
Yes, but not very much. You just dampen the back with a moist sponge or give it a little mist. Once the water has soaked in a little you put it between boards with towels.Β

Ah, neat. I'll give it a try on some older watercolors, sounds like it might not make them bleed. And basically anything beats wet stretching. Thanks!

Ooooh, really gorgeous blues in this! I love the greens and browns in the corner that are contrasting against them too, it really helps bring them to life. Your brushstrokes for the fur look amazingly wispy and soft, and again I like how that contrasts against the more blunt and rounded strokes of the background.Β
