As untrustworthy a fellow as anyone might hope not to meet.A fun painting that I got a bit carried away with, or rather, I was interested in it until it was done
Which is terribly rare. This just started as a bizarre sketch idea that I thought I might give a whirl at painting, after browsing through the tutorials Balaa was so good as to compile in her journal [link] . I was inspired to give fur another try. I"m not oft to try genuine painting in a digital medium because I just don't seem to have the patience or inclination. All Photoshop 7
I took uh.... maybe five or six hours.
Oh yeh. And a fun little fact... I learned this back in art history. The technical name for those little jingly bells is a 'crotal' :3 yep. They are crotals.

This reminds me of a Brian Jacques book, you know, part the Redwall series, where a fox with a jacked up face dresses up like a jester. I don't remember what book it is, or even why he did it. But that's what first popped into my head. Good drawing, really like it.
