Description
A little 3 by 4 for saffron-gryphon. Her character spends a lot of time in the desert, and her anthro version is into archeology, so I wanted to include the remnants of some ancient culture's representation of a gryphon.Again, warm colors. I also wanted to toy with the idea of different line widths and line colors in addition to the shading.

There was in a book a scene like that (it was about two princess-sisters), she drawed a pic about a real gryphon and a statue.

Incredible - and suggestive of sadness. The title says more than enough here. The colors are beautiful. One shot story telling - you do it well and make us want to see more. That you can do so as an illustrator independant of the story writer says volumes about your talent and skill.

I like the colors and the gryphon's expression. The background is pretty nice too. The jewels on the gryphon's neck is pretty cool too, it sort of directs one's attention towards the head a little more, i think. Well, wonderfully done, I really like this pic.

That's really nice. I don't know that I've seen anyone do any furry art that implies a history of the species. Most of it just sort of appears out of thin air. I like the idea of anthros studying their history. I think I've got a pencil drawing of a long-lost ancestor of his you did in pencil several years ago. He's pretty neat too.

This one really caught my eye in my deviation inbox--the color scheme is gorgeous, smooth.
the gryphon really conveys emotion looking at the stone gargoyle, yet it's not too much.
The picture seems to have motion and mystery to it, just a little bit, but effective.
