Snow leopards! I love big cats. The second character kind of looks drugged. Her eyes sort appear to be looking off in different directions. The third character I adore. He looks so similar to the style of the main character from the Disney movie Dinosaurs. Iguanadons, that's what they were called. The last character I'm having trouble figuring out the placement of the body. Is it a humanish figure standing upright or a four-legged figure with the body moving towards the right of the picture.

Very pretty, the first one has nice fur texture, and they all have a nice little smile.

lots and lots of solvent. It spreads the pigment out to make transparencies, just like watercolor.

Neat! I might try that. Oils and me have never really been friends, I've always been an acrylics girl.

It's true! The top is acrylic ink. the rest are oil. It might be the level of opacity that is confusing... for the top one, the commissioner wanted a more photographic, painterly style. So I piled the paint on thicker. But I usually do a lot of transparency work, in oil as well. I just pile in the solvent and additive.
