This is Diane Moore! Diane here is the Sheriff of "Castleton" which is a small trade town based around "Castleton Bridge Over Hudson" in upstate New York. South of Albany, it's a respectably sized crossing point over the Hudson river. She grew up in the ruins of Albany and traveled around hunting bounties. Not too sure on her childhood yet but a rougher one where she learned how to fight, track and kick ass. Most of her bounties were criminals of some sort, didn't take just any job and has a strong moral compass. Eventually she went after a bounty in Castleton, a fisherman, but fell in love with him when she tried to catch him. Gave up bounty hunting and settled in Castleton, having twins with her husband. He died about five years into their marriage due to disease. Adopting the mantle of sheriff from there on, Diane protects Castleton and raises her children with a tough but loving attitude. Diane lost her leg one night when on the bridge, drunk, and fell. Her leg was seriously injured and she got a tetanus infection that threatened to kill her. Amputation was the best cure with what medicine was available. She does not hide the fact that she lost her leg due to foolishness and often jokes about it.

This character has kinda exploded in my head the last 24 hours and with her creation really made me evaluate a planned FO4 story of mine and it's soooo much better now because of it.
