Description FINALLY! I took far too much time with this, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. But it's here now! File might be a tad big, being A3 size. >->
So this is for ShadowDrakkon , who gave me the freedom of choice among her epic and stunning character designs, so I went with this one. Known as King of the Thunderhead of Dusk, I loved the movement and flair the creature has, yet a sense of strength also comes through.
All of the main artwork is traditional in pen and coloured pencil, I then did alot of the effects digitally, like the glow of the crystals.

If you're unhappy with anything about the work or would like something changed, let me know. :3

I apologize for this being a wall of text, but I had so much (and probably more) about this to say.

This definitely caught me by surprise, and it was most certainly worth the wait. Now, I have been fascinated by this magnificent artwork ever since I first noticed you submitted it, along with the fact that when I noticed the beast that you decided to use, I never expected that you would have chosen the great thunder king as compared to my other creatures and characters, so I was pleasantly caught by surprise as a result. It especially astonishes me not only that you chose this beast but added so much detail to the artwork.
I very much adore the way you depicted it, the brilliant creature against the perfect, well-blended background of cloudtops and a dusk sky, and adding the small detail of a silhouette of an airplane for scale. You even added the glitter-like dust around all of its head fins, giving it that quality of majesty, of grace, beauty, and flair. You paid attention to the smaller details that I stated in its description, and seeing it colored gave it life. Your attention to detail on the beast is just as fascinating, including the violet tips and the vivid red glow of the crystals on its sides, the transparency and the translucency of its fins..., even going as far to sketching every detail and every attribute to this beast (the detail on the fins, the wings, the spine, the tail, the gems...). You captured its movement vividly, and you added its colossal strength into the position you sketched it in, and this is very fitting. Its head and the protrusions on its back popping out of the border are also a wonderful addition, I must say. For all of these reasons and maybe more, I would certainly say you went above and beyond the call of duty.
I am beyond happy with everything you have done, and I am very glad I went to ask you about this request to see a surprise. If you have a larger size for this image (I have a very special place to put it), you can send it to me in Notes, if you do not mind.
In short..., thank you, so very much for this magnificent work depicting my thunder beast! It is absolutely beautiful.

My gosh, I'm so happy that you like it!!! I had to read it over and over to process your lovely description, and thank you for it! It's not often I get cool critiques like this. I'll get that larger size for you :3

I apologize for the late reply. You are very much welcome!
I am glad I had the chance to comment on this magnificent work. I always try to provide constructive comments to the artist because I think it would be "cheap", so to speak, if I gave the artist a one-word comment that was not helpful to them in the long run.
Thank you, by the way! I wanted to put the image as my desktop background.
