This is the first art of Bleach faces series.


Isshin hides his true nature behind the mask of silly, immature and irresponsible father. However deep down inside he is concerned about Ichigo's future because he knows that Ichigo became shinigami. He loves his son and cares about him alot.
Unaware of Isshin's past and ulterior motives of father's silly behavior Ichigo is trying to stay the same smiling teenager, although his life changed suddenly when he met Rukia.


This is the story behind the art. I think that the faces I've chosed express it all well.

Who is Isshin for real? Why is he wearing strange shinigami uniform? I hope Kubo will explain it to us soon.

Isshin has got to be one of the most kickass dads in manga/anime history. He always knew Ichigo became a Shinigami, right from the start. I was dying for the moment Ichigo found out that he was one too, and finally it's happened!!

The expressions in your drawing are so beautiful, especially Isshin's. You can see the depth of his love and worry for his son.
