Driving on the Island of Madeira is a spectacular experience. When I took this photo we drove from the North side of the island, cutting back to Funchal via the old mountainroads that twist and turn and bring you up about 1500 meters above sealevel. The difference in climate between the North part of the island (more wet and raining) and the South (more dry and sunny) causes a lot of misty clouds traveling between the high mountains giving amazing views on this landscape.Related content
