thanks to the rickstaverse i have this headcanon where morty goes to the rooftop every night to see the universe and the emptyness he feels because of rick's absence overflows him only there. He doesn't want anyone of his family to worry about him, especially his mother.

in short, everyone is depressed or a least sad. Some of them show it (Beth, maybe Summer) and others don't (Morty and Jerry).
