I usually don't do photo studies often because I don't see much artistic merit in them but I guess it can be some sort of observational practise by getting proportions and color hues etc right. Life drawing makes a lot more sense though.
This was painted on an iPhone 6s Plus with a stylus in Procreate Pocket (Infinite Painter is also really powerful imo) - not an easy task (just why??)
