Description
Every once in a while, Hideyoshi puts a few more hours into his paintings.Neglectfully, he paints away without proper planning and concept, hiding a boring base in eyecandy detail and colors.
Then he regrets that he did and submits it to DA anyway b̶̶e̶̶c̶̶a̶̶u̶̶s̶̶e̶̶ ̶̶h̶̶e̶̶ ̶̶t̶̶h̶̶i̶̶n̶̶k̶̶s̶̶ ̶̶h̶̶e̶'̶s̶̶ ̶̶c̶̶o̶̶o̶̶l̶̶.̶

no 3D base (except for the 3 main buildings), I was struggling with making the boring composition work. There are some scale issues and most of the building design is rather generic.

Very impressive - I love the sun streaming between the two centre structures - nature squeezing through - despite the technology. I think you do yourself a disservice, I like the composition.

When ever I picture Metropolis I think of Gothom city or the 1927 movie Metropolis. I think it needs loads more absurdly tall and cramped buildings.

Its pretty good actually. I've tried to paint stuff like this, and failed. The floodlights are a nice touch.

I still think it's cool even if *Hideyoshi hid a boring base in eyecandy. The soft sunset colors make this picture, and that's good enough for most.

Of course this is great as usual! But maybe a character somewhere would help us get a feel what is done at this city and what the people are like because now it seems like a robot town. Since we are humans in the 21st century we really don't know about cities like this and they are foreign. So that's why a character would help us relate. But,you had fun and it resulted in something amazing! When will you have an ART BOOK come out?
