Huh? What? Normalcy?Yes, it happens. Quite often, actually. I happen to be tremendous fan of fluff, WAFF, romance, cuteness, and new families.
So, what better way than to play around with my current favorite fandom, Phantasy Star 4? Chaz and Rika really do make the most adorable couple, and it is sorta canonical that they have children. 'Course, it's also sort canonical that Chaz dies like a week later, but, that was one artists after-development notes, so they don't count. Chaz is alive and well, damnit, and Rika is happy.

Exactly. And Japan seems to love that kind of plotline, too. I don't have any actual examples at the moment, but I'm pretty darn sure that I've run into it a lot over the last 20 years.
Supposedly they prefer unhappy endings over there, so I guess it makes sense, but they always come out silly like this liner-note thing with Chaz.
