Every single day of my life.
My soul aches uncontrollably.
You cause all of my strife.

It’s because I love you,
That I am in pain.
It’s because you don’t know,
That every day brings rain.

You think you know me,
But if only you knew.
About my constant sorrow,
What I wish I could do.

I curse my cowardice,
Whenever you’re around.
I don’t know why I do this.
Why I can’t make a sound.

Whenever we talk,
I respond so mildly,
Though through the whole thing,
My heart is beating wildly.

My heart is shattered,
There is too much feeling.
Why did this happen?
It wasn’t finished healing.

I don’t know why I love you,
Why you’re just my friend.
All I know is that I can’t do this,
And I just wish it would end.
