Damaged927 order a whole ton of Perler beads so we could make bead sprites
He made Kogasa from Touhou and I made that infamous Nyan Cat .This little guy measures 4"x8.5" and took about three hours to make. Probably would've finished sooner if I hadn't messed up and made him just one "pixel" too long. I didn't realize that until I was almost done, so it took a bit of time removing the extra beads and every moving little row over to the left
My husband also made Nyan Cat's "nemesis", Tac Nayn. They are currently engaged in an epic duel on our fridge

I saw the original Nyan Cat and I thought it was cute and kinda funny, but what I never understood is the "viral" reaction that started people making insanely long versions, even continuous loops - and then competing for "who watched the longest Nyan Cat Marathon" and even cheating by letting the thing run all day while they weren't even home watching it, only ending if/when computer crashed or internet went barfo LOL LOL

What a fun thing to do with the beads tho I used to do these all the time and you made yours look really great here and it can be hard at times to make these and not burn yourself omg.Β

wonder how big is that thing, so you say 4x8.5, is it cm? I think obviously yes, cause it cant be mm, you need a magnifying glass to see that, can't be m, cause too big. So it is cm right? :3

It's 4x8.5 inches. And honestly, making anything with Perler beads is really easy. I simply replicated the sprite using the beads to represent each pixel

Inches, well, that makes sense, I don't know that it is so easy, I thought it will like, take a million hours( what I mean by that is taking very long ) and always dropping the beads. Yup, it does look good
