"I look damn good in a tutu!"This costume was very comfortable and it was so much fun to play Yami this way. People tended to react with either "OMG YAMI IN A TUTU YOU JUST MADE MY DAY!" or "OMG YAMI IN A TUTU I AM SCARRED FOR LIFE!" *giggles*

Costume:
Pink ballerina slippers (from a dance store), white tights (from a dance store), pink tutu (from ebay), belt choker (made from a belt from Wal-Mart), wrist band (modified from a band from Wal-Mart), Punky XL black wig tipped with hot pink (from Amphigory.com), yellow hair extensions (from Sally's Beauty Supply), and the Millennium Puzzle (commissioned from =birdewilliams ).
This costume was inspired by a scene Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series by Little Kuriboh when Yami says, "I'm here for my ballet classes! I should warn you, I look damn good in a tutu!" The wig was trimmed and then styled with Elmer's glue, pomade, and hairspray. Birde did the cutting and styling because I have no idea how to do those things myself. She also did my eye makeup.

I especially like the wig. I've seen people use CARDBOARD to make that hair. (It honestly is the most outragous anime hair ever) So Kudos to you and everyone who whorked on that hair. I'm going as Marik for Anime Vegas this year. So It's not TOO dificult. Well at least not like THIS.

Yes, his hair is INSANE, to draw or make as a wig. I've seen a couple people on dA who have REALLY good Yugi/Yami wigs, but I'm really happy how mine turned out. Yay, Marik! His hair is nice and flippy, which is a little easier to manage than spiky.

Yeah. I've actually never seen a good "Yami Marik" hair. It always looks too fake. And yes, his hair is a simple thing that even I think I could style. Plus wigs aren't are to come by in las vegas ^_^'. So I do have an upper hand with cosplays.
