I so was not expecting to Photoshop this o.o; I wish I had known I was gonna, I would have put more effort in the lineart I was gonna color this with pencils, but since I was in a hurry to show my buddy, ARC, all I had to scan at the time was the lineart. Than I decided since it was scanned, I might as well color it.

There's a story behind this particular dragon, but it's nuts, so let's just say that RPing+bordom+certain charaters+magic=this, and in the RP some poor soul got turned into a dragon against thier will Much to my amusement XD

The original design I thought up for the charater was NOTHING like this, but it kinda slowly changed as I was drawing it. It's appropriate for the charater's personality, I think. Also, a (virtual) cookie for whoever can figure out what classic monster I ended up using as an inspiration for this.

This was originally gonna be colored with pencil like I said, but I'm actually really happy I PSed it instead. Since I have the Wacom, I've been able to try lots of things I wouldn't have the patience with using just the mouse. I tried making the fur look furry, and played with a new shading technique for the feathers. One of my younger brothers saw it and asked if I'd really done all that, and I had to tell him repeatedly that, yes I had done the whole thing. Then he said it was pretty good, even if the lineart wasn't great >.>; Brothers! Gotta love em x.x

I kept the background for this extremely simple, cause the only reason I bother with them is so it doesn't just have plain white. I <3 the pawprint brush ^_^
