after a friggin 6 months.

A FRIGGIN 6 MONTHS.

tho background is just some plain lazy stuff again<.<*stabbed*

I tried using a whole set of different colours to do this, yes I need to experiment, me wanna learn colour theory dammitTT_TT

the drawing is uhhhh, 30 mins quick draw and lineart total so sorry for the simplicity and mistakes<.<

the colouring, spent a few hours trying out and all, but I didn't get bored;w; I seemed to have found the feeling for colouring back again;w; after 6 months otz.

and yea as I was saying, new oc. so expect effing long comments again=w=

This is vrnda, sounds like a guy's name otz, but she's a she, obviously (i think<.< my mom said she look like a guy otz) and she's the mentioned childhood friend of Xis>> [link] , and as mentioned there they hadn't seen one another since they were kids. The reason being that she died. If you consider her living that is, because she's a virus, not a human anymore.

(before you read on, it is essential for you to know that I'm a freak who loves biology and has reread her bio textbook+ went online to search for new information even though my current course doesn't require me to study those at all. And I am planning to reread a maths, geography and newspapers(current affairs). My left brain wants something to stimulate it otz.)

It is debatable to whether a virus is to be considered a living thing because for something to be regarded as living, it needs to fulfill all of these criterias, that is to:

1:Reproduce
2btain and use energy
3:Grow, develop, and die
4: Respond to the environment

Reproduction wise, vrnda does it like how viruses do. And this is also her ability, she injects the virus into her hosts, where the virus within her would take over their bodies, and they will become her, tho preserving the identity of the original person. She uses this ability to spy and backstab people (uh yea, in case I didnt mention, she's one of the "bad guys"). She retains their memories but the person in control is her, or more like, the virus. Who are then controlled by Crack, the so called main bad guy of the story. Vrnda is a fairly new character, cos the name was actually thought out just a couple of minutes ago with courtesy of virus, dna and rna. Crack on the other hand, can be dated back to be a very very old one thought out a few years ago when one fine day I was constipating in the toilet and saw this door crack that resembled a guy with a hat staring at me. Thus crack is born=w=V*anti climatic birth of a villian* tho I hadnt thought of the storyline then cos I haven't even started learning bio then=w=;;

*apologizes for bad english* I haven't typed something serious in a long long time=A=;;; Things like these are making me miss studying*sniff*<
vrnda, its vrnda we're talking abt here *strayed again*=_=;; She's the one in control yet not cos she's a slave to the virus herself. The only difference is that she's the mother body and she's given special vaccines so that the virus doesn't completely kill her off.

She doesn't require energy, because by nature she doesn't respire and everything. So when she's not on a mission she stays put and play dead. But when she is on one, she will have to use obtain and use energy like all of us do, so she will have to eat. Although she could resolve to other less battery consuming methods such as using her hosts to work for her while she conducts the mission in her point of view. (she's like a robot or zombie but she's none of them)

the vaccines allowed her to grow, but only up till a certain age when the human body is the fully developed. Once that age is reached, the vaccine will cease to function and the virus will continue to spread on her. That makes one more factor to contribute that she technically isn't alive. She doesn't die as well, like how viruses do.

the last one, respond to the environment. duh. if she doesn't she's better off as some tree standee thingy than a character. cos interaction is what makes the story go roundC:

I dun think I written enough, but for now that's all I have. apparently the lack of information online is contributing to this. If anyone takes bio or knows more information on viruses, please tell me/correct me. I dunno how reliable the sources are>:

Uhhh I swear I dun have the habit of creating characters once every 6 months>_<;; tho I think I have the habit of posting new art of them up after a 6 month interval...
