History: His mother, Tsura, a Romani, met his father, Yigal, an Israeli, when she went on holiday with a few close friends. She had believed it to just be a fling, something to add excitement to her life, but it blossomed into a passionate romance. In the course of that holiday trip, she decided to move away from her home in Turkey to live with him and his family. It took years before her family would even speak to her again, let alone accept her marriage. Before being married, Tsura converted to Judaism to make it easier on Yigal's family. It wasn't long after their wedding night that she was then pregnant.

Ari came third in the line of siblings, the first two being twin boys. Being one of 7, his life was never boring. With girls out numbering the boys, he was often caught doing more "feminine" hobbies. The main reason was due to him being epileptic, a condition he was born with. Most of his seizures weren't too bad, though around the time he was 5, his family discovered they would cause hallucinations, some very violent and disruptive, and others he would just disregard or accept as normal. When he was 13 the Romani side of his family came into the picture, wanting to share their culture as well. Slowly but surely, Ari became more focused on dancing, finding ways to encoporate that into self defense.

Also around this time Ari had been given an mp3 player as a birthday gift. Since he was homeschooled due to his condition, he found it quite useful to drown out the constant noises around him. There was a great deal of pressure on him to pick a profession, though all he wanted to do was live his life and not have to make a decision yet. The stress caused his seizures to become more and more frequent. During one episode when he was alone, a light came out of his mp3 player, and out came Scamamon. They've been together ever since.

When he turned 18, Ari found that there is a center in Japan that offered treatments for various types of epilepsy. After talking with his parents, and having done research on an orginization about Digimon there as well (which he didn't tell his parents about), he was allowed to move there to get help.

Rookie: Yanshumon
-Less talkative, Yanshumon likes to observe her surroundings from a high place, usually on top of Ari's head. Quick to act and quick to nap, she still retains her mothering nature.

+Razor Talons: Flying past an enemy, Yanshumon's speed causes her talons to become extra sharp, perfect for slicing, tearing, or piercing an enemy.
+Wind Blades: Flaping her wings quickly, she produces gusts of winds that cut into the enemy.
