Personality: More pasifist than fighter, Ilkid usually has a smile on his face and goes out of his way to be friendly. Rarely would anyone catch him saying an ill word about anyone, even if they’ve wronged him. In fact, it’s hard to get a straight opinion from him about others. He likes to not tell too much, and that can become frustrating for others. Mostly playful, Ilkid does often need time to just relax and, on occasion, cuddle up.
Likes: Pillows, blankets, sunny days, rainy days, clouds, tea, food of any kind, making friends
Dislikes: Confrontation for no reason, complete isolation, rudeness, fog
History: Ilkid grew up with his parents, mostly isolated. His mother, a Sika deer, and his father, an Eld’s deer, were both cautious. They would join the herd on occasion, but often would venture off, wary of strangers. Ilkid loved being apart of the herd, enjoying playing with others, and finding that he enjoyed tending to children once he got older. This upset his father, who would not allow such a thing. A man is the protector, the provider. Shortly after turning one, Ilkid found he was now a brother. This should have brought him joy, but because of tension between himself and his father, it didn’t. After just six months of his sister being born, he decided it was time to leave and rejoin the herd fully. This decision was not met well, causing his leg to become damaged as he left.
Even though he was now away from his family, the only memento he had was a bead his sister made for him, Ilkid knew he’d not be allowed to tend children. He was trained to protect, so when accepted back into the herd, he joined the ranks of the Deltain. His cane was a cause for concern until he proved he could function without it, just prefered not to.
